Techno Functional Associate
Job Summary:
We are looking for passionate and curious individuals to join our team as a Techno Functional Associate. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding business processes as much as technology.
As a Techno Functional Associate, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to implement, customize, support, and improve ERP solutions built on the Frappe Framework and ERPNext. The role combines functional consulting, business process understanding, client coordination, troubleshooting, and light technical/customization work.
You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technology solutions while continuously learning and growing in the ERP ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Implementation & Functional Consulting
* Understand client business processes and gather requirements.
* Assist in ERP implementations, configurations, and user onboarding.
* Map business workflows into ERP processes and suggest improvements.
* Prepare functional documents, process notes, and implementation checklists.
* Support users during UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and post-go-live activities.
Application Support & Customization
* Work on basic customizations, reports, print formats, and workflows in ERPNext/Frappe.
* Assist in troubleshooting issues and resolving functional or technical queries.
* Coordinate with the development team for advanced customizations and integrations.
* Test new features, enhancements, and bug fixes before deployment.
Data & System Management
* Help clients with data preparation, import, validation, and cleanup.
* Support configuration of masters, transactions, roles, and permissions.
* Ensure data accuracy and process compliance within the ERP system.
Client Communication & Coordination
* Conduct training sessions and help users adopt the system effectively.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
* Provide timely updates and maintain proper documentation of tasks and discussions.
Continuous Learning & Improvement
* Learn ERP concepts, industry workflows, and implementation methodologies.
* Stay updated with Frappe Framework and ERPNext capabilities.
* Contribute ideas to improve implementation processes and customer experience.
Requirements
* Basic understanding of business processes such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, HR, or Operations.
* Good communication and analytical skills.
* Strong willingness to learn ERP systems and technology.
* Basic knowledge of ERPNext/Frappe Framework is preferred.
* Understanding of Python, JavaScript, SQL, or APIs is an added advantage.
* Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets and data handling.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Good to Have
* Exposure to ERP implementations or business software.
* Understanding of Frappe Framework or ERPNext.
* Knowledge of business process mapping and documentation.
* Familiarity with Linux environments, Git, or cloud hosting.
* Experience with customer support or client-facing roles.
