Make idle cash work smarter.

  • Free cash after commitments & buffer
  • Clear view of the next payment window
  • SaaS + open-source Frappe app

Built for IT services · SaaS · Consulting · BPO · Professional services

  • Free cash from local bank balances
  • Commitments mapped to the payment calendar
  • Shortfalls visible before they hit
  • You decide what happens next

Surplus cash often sits idle between pay cycles.

Service businesses collect ahead of payroll, vendors and taxes — then leave large balances in current accounts because the next payment date feels unclear.

  1. Large current-account balances

Collections land before salaries, vendors, GST/TDS and rent are due.

  2. Unclear what’s safe to leave idle

Teams fear a shortfall more than they value idle float.

  3. Scattered decisions

Spreadsheets and ad-hoc emails make cash choices hard to review later.

  4. Hard to plan ahead of payday

Without a free-cash number, teams sit on too much idle balance — or scramble.

Cash position → Commitments → Free cash.

Start with visibility. Once free cash is clear, leave it in the bank — or optionally run a Proposal (Invest / Redeem) after you understand the options.

Cash position

Local bank statement balances, buffer and restricted cash — always on this site, not remote ERPNext pulls.

Commitments

Payroll, vendors, taxes and recurring dues in your horizon. Optional accept-from-books when ERPNext is connected.

Explainable free cash

Bank − commitments − buffer − restricted, with a saved Surplus Run you can review line by line.

Optional Proposal

When free cash is clear, Invest or Redeem via Mytra — human-approved. Not required for the forecast.

Four steps your finance team stays in control of.

  1. 1

    Cash position

Start from local bank balances, buffer and restricted cash.

  2. 2

    Commitments

List planned payments in the horizon that reserve cash.

  3. 3

    Free cash

Review the waterfall so idle float and tight windows are both visible.

  4. 4

    Decide

Leave free cash in the bank, tighten the plan, or optionally Propose Invest / Redeem.

LYQD starts as a cash forecast. Allocating surplus is optional and always human-approved.

Known payment dates. Forecast the cash you’ll need.

  • Payroll Collections mid-cycle → salaries at month-end. Compute free cash before payday.
  • Taxes & vendors GST, TDS and vendor runs on a known schedule. Spot shortfalls early.
  • Recurring ops Rent, tools and subscriptions — keep buffer separate, re-check when the calendar shifts.

Your cash. Your decisions. Clear visibility.

LYQD shows the numbers; your business decides. Mytra can support mutual fund workflows as a Mutual Fund Distributor if you later choose to allocate surplus — not as the custodian of your bank balances.

  • Free cash always reflects the Surplus Run waterfall
  • Shortfalls visible before payment dates
  • Bank balances stay local — Other Site may mirror accounts, not statement pulls
  • Optional Proposal (Invest / Redeem) requires human approval — no autonomous BSE execution
  • Expected receipts don’t inflate available cash until confirmed

Idle current-account cash typically earns nothing.

Some teams compare leaving free cash in the current account, a short bank deposit, or a liquid mutual fund. The last is market-linked and optional — subject to scheme terms and settlement.

Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Read all scheme-related documents carefully. See the illustrative calculator.

Illustrative interest calculator

Interest = Principal × Annual rate × Days ÷ 365. Not a mutual fund return forecast, not tax-adjusted, and not a promise of performance.

Rate A (e.g. short FD) ₹11,507
Rate B (hypothetical) ₹21,096
Difference (B − A) ₹9,589

Defaults: ₹2 crore · 7 days · 3% ≈ ₹11,507 vs 5.5% ≈ ₹21,096.

Hypothetical interest for stated annual rates only — not forecasts of mutual fund performance. Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks; read all scheme-related documents carefully. Liquid funds are not bank deposits and do not guarantee principal, fixed returns, or credit on a specific clock time.

Straight answers for finance leads.

Is LYQD for businesses that “don’t invest”?

Yes. The core product is cash visibility: bank cash, commitments and free cash. A Proposal (Invest / Redeem) is optional after free cash is clear — not a requirement.

Does LYQD require ERPNext?

No. LYQD installs without ERPNext. Books are optional — Manual, This Site, or Other Site. Bank statement balances always stay local on LYQD Bank Balance.

Does LYQD move money automatically?

No. Free cash is a forecast. Any Invest / Redeem proposal requires human approval. There is no autonomous trading from LYQD.

Is a liquid fund the same as a bank deposit?

No. Mutual funds are market-linked. They are not bank deposits, do not guarantee returns or principal, and are not a substitute for operating bank balances.

Who decides what to do with free cash?

Your business. LYQD computes free cash; leaving it in the bank, changing the plan, or optionally proposing Invest / Redeem is always your call.
